Crafting 404 pages

As a follow up to my earlier post on Entertaining Error Messages, I’d like to offer this article from Smashing Magazine. It’s a thoughtful explanation that looks at preventing the “page not found” error in the first place as well as some tips on making the event a better user experience.

Nerds, Nerds, Nerds – Not the Candy Kind Either, Part III

Nerd Spotlight: Robert Wallace (aka Office Magician)

This marks the half-way point of my non-scientific research study to identify the most revered nerds of the HB Design office. Any Pinewood Derby or Ladder Toss fans out there? She also happens to have a heart-framed picture of Captain Kirk beside her monitor. However, he may have some misgivings about her response to this question.
