It’s not just the images and graphics that are important in graphic design—the content matters. A lot.
Content usually drives the overall design, in addition to images and graphics. Graphic design is used to convey a message—it has intent and purpose. The overall message it conveys comes from boiling down the message or content to form cohesive imagery and feeling. The content on your web site or in your brochure brings your customers closer to you—it is a bonding mechanism. They are reading your “story” so to speak; this is your opportunity to hook them. More and more people are finding out about and pursuing their interest in a product or company because of a content driven format as opposed to a simple ad. Bringing your content up to snuff can really make a difference with your potential customers.
